Everest Software is pleased to announce the general availability of Everest Advanced 3.0. This new release expands on the previous versions with hundreds of enhancements to help your customers achieve greater productivity, increased profitability, improved performance and customer satisfaction.
Increased Accounting Functionality Everest 3.0 contains many new exciting features to deliver greater flexibility, control and accuracy including:
- Configurable multi-segment accounting structure which allows financial traceability of cost and profit centers
- Cash-flow statements that easily break out sections for Operating, Investing and Financing activities and support across-period comparisons in a single report
- Payment register improvements that include audit trails to distinguish voids from reversals, and Posting Groups functionality targeted for growth companies
Expanded Inventory Capabilities With Everest 3.0, users can better manage, optimize and sell inventoried goods -- especially in multi-location environments. Feature highlights include:
- A re-tooled unit of measure system which supports the buying, selling and stocking of products in multiple measures
- Configurable stock “availability” with easier access to company or location-specific quantities and more options for displaying quantity on e-commerce sites
- New inventory stock count features and an expanded fulfillment engine that allows processing of more orders in less time

Everest 3.0 leverages and combines Microsoft’s SharePoint technology with SQL Server Analysis Services to deliver unmatched business intelligence to its users. Capabilities include:
- An interactive and easy-to-read display that provides instant snapshots of key business activities such as sales, orders, commissions or profits and is accessible outside the office
New! Everest SDK Use the SDK to easily extend and customize Everest 3.0 to meet your specific needs.
- Everest SDK features a Screen Designer Toolkit for personalizing Profile, Quote and Invoice screens; an Application Programmers Interface (API) that enables the development of add-on applications for Everest; and a navigable database model
And Much More… Additional enhancements in Everest Advanced 3.0 include a simplified and quicker installation process, improved chart of account templates, an expanded barcode label designer and improved financial reporting with “Smart” filters.
